While we were in Texas, we made a side trip to Oklahoma City to visit a fellow adoptive mom and her darling son. Our adoption timeline is pretty similar and we were in Ethiopia the same week. We met Turo the day before they met their little boy. We’ve stayed in touch via blogging and facebook, so it was great to actual connect in person. In between wrangling our toddlers at the botanical gardens, lunch and the OU Natural History Museum, we chatted about life, adoption and our sweet sons. I drove off wishing they didn’t live so far away.
